Immerse yourself in the art of coffee roasting and brunch with a hands-on workshop led by enthusiastic hosts.
So, you love coffee, right? It’s available basically everywhere. But how do you go from the farm to the brew?
The Sundowner is all about doing it DIY, and this is probably Singapore’s first-ever coffee roasting experience, with a personalised cup of fresh coffee at the end of your session!
This is an introductory 1.5-hour workshop suitable for coffee connoisseurs and enthusiasts. For many people, coffee is something you literally ‘plug and play’: Pop a capsule into a machine. Here, you will see the living coffee plant growing on the farm, pick the raw coffee beans while they roast over a fire; grind it by hand, and brew with a Pour-over and Moka.
Here, the beans are roasted to a light or medium roast, bringing out grassy and tea-like flavors. It’s a whole new taste compared to the usual dark roast with its roasted and chocolatey notes. You’ll leave with a new appreciation for your coffee and a big smile after enjoying a simple but well-earned brunch
