You either like a design of all-mesh office chairs as much as I do, or you don’t. I find them to be both the lightest and most comfortable home office chairs, but they tend to be no-laires – meaning that if you have sat on an all-mesh chair before and liked the feeling of weightlessness, they’re a no-brainer. If, however, you have never sat in an all-mesh chair, there is a 20 per cent chance you will dislike them to the point of never being able to sit on another one again (the writers at Medium.com wrote a great story about people’s reactions to the Aeron in the 1990s, and it still holds today) – in which case, buying an all-mesh office chair online, sight unseen, is a cat-and-mouse game, which you might either win or lose.
