Swosh Touchscreen TV
In light of the global pandemic, working from home and attending classes online has become the norm for the foreseeable future. The rise of telecommuting has necessitated the development of new standards to meet. For example, virtual meetings or lessons must be as productive as in-person ones to meet this new standard.
This is where local lifestyle brand Swosh enters the picture, with its innovative Interactive Touchscreen TV series. Designed to foster better communication and interaction among participants wherever they may be, this product is perfect for the modern workplace or virtual classroom.
The FunEmpire team got a chance to try this technological marvel out for ourselves and we can say without a doubt that it is an amazing experience. Read on to find out how it fared!
Swosh Interactive Touchscreen TV
Before we jump into the features, here’s the technical specifications for the tech enthusiasts out there:
The SWOSH Interactive Premium Series Touchscreen TV comes in four sizes: 65″, 75″, 86″, and 98″ and they all share the following specifications:
The first thing you’ll notice about the Swosh Interactive Touchscreen TV is its sleek 4K tempered glass touch screen. The screen allows for clear viewing from any angle, making it perfect for use in a collaborative setting. Built with anti glare technology, long hours of meetings or presentations will not cause eye fatigue with this screen.
The TV also comes with a built-in AI 48M Pixel camera and 8 Array microphones, making it the perfect tool for online meetings and video calls. The camera has a wide viewing angle, so everyone in the room will be in view, and the microphone ensures that all participants will be heard clearly.
Next, the SWOSH Interactive Touchscreen TV also comes equipped with a powerful speaker system that delivers clear and rich sound. This makes it great for playing music or videos, and ensures that everyone in the room can enjoy the audio experience.
Finally, there is also a router built in within the TV – The TV will also allow you to create a Wifi hotspot if it’s connected to your workplace or school’s Wifi. This is fantastic if you’re giving an in-person presentation and want to provide your visitors with a short-term Wi-Fi connection without having to connect them directly into the network.
Swosh Interactive Touchscreen TV Features
Now that we’ve gone over the specs, let’s talk about our experience using the SWOSH SW65″ Interactive Touchscreen TV.
We were immediately impressed by the sleek design of the TV. The tempered glass screen is stunning, and as its name suggests, it is extremely interactive. You can use either your fingers or the included stylus pens to interact with the touchscreen, which responds smoothly to every touch.
Swosh separates the TV’s features into 4 categories: SwoshBOARD, SwoshSHARE, SwoshFINDER & SwoshSURF.
SwoshBOARD
With the SwoshBOARD feature, gone are the days of the traditional whiteboard/blackboard. Now, you can use the touchscreen to write or draw on a virtual whiteboard. The board is also interactive, so participants can add comments or suggestions in real-time. This makes it perfect for brainstorming sessions or presentations.
The Swosh Interactive Touchscreen TV allows for fast file transfer via a QR code, which means that participants can add files onto the virtual whiteboard seamlessly in a matter of seconds. This is extremely useful when you need to share documents or images during a meeting!
Supporting up to 20 pages at once, you also have the option to insert a voting system where participants will vote via their devices. This is a great way to get feedback from a large group quickly and efficiently.
When you’re done with your discussion or lesson, you can share your work through a QR code with the option to encrypt the file. Alternatively, you can also save your work onto the TV’s memory or cloud drive in the following formats for easy sharing: MHB, PNG, PDF.
SwoshSHARE
The SwoshSHARE feature is designed for seamless screen sharing and collaboration. Up to four devices can share their screens at the same time through the proprietary ExceedShare app, making it perfect for collaborative work sessions among multiple groups.
The TV will generate a 6-digit code for each session which participants have to enter into their app in order to share their screens. One of the coolest features we found was that the TV is actually able to act as a remote control for your laptop screen, provided that you allow it in the settings of the ExceedShare app on your laptop!
And if you happen to be using an iPhone or iPad, you do not even need to download the app. All you have to do is connect to the TV’s hotspot and share your screen via Screen Mirroring! One downside (or upside, depending on how you look at it) of this, however, is that the TV is unable to control your phone’s screen.
In addition, the TV also allows for real-time annotation on any shared screens. This is perfect for giving feedback or suggesting edits to documents in a meeting!
SwoshFINDER
The SwoshFINDER feature is essentially a built-in file explorer, not unlike the native Finder app on Mac systems. It gives users the ability to access files stored on the TV, as well as any connected USB drives. This is perfect for when you need to quickly find a file or document during a meeting!
If you’re worried about using up the TV’s storage space, you can simply connect your Google Drive or OneDrive account for easy cloud storage!
SwoshSURF
The SwoshSURF feature is the TV’s built-in web browser, which gives users the ability to surf the internet together during a meeting. This is perfect for when you need to find information on the internet!
Additional Features
The SWOSH Interactive Touchscreen TV also comes jam-packed with a variety of additional features, including:
- Camera & Microphone
- Screen Recorder (up to 10 mins per clip)
- Stopwatch
- Countdown Timer
- Game
- Voting Kit
- Calendar
- Cropping function
As this is built on the Android operating system, you also have the option to install external apps onto the TV. For us, we tried out the Zoom app on the TV and it worked perfectly! However, because the Zoom app is based on Android’s native Zoom app, it has certain limitations. If you’re having a meeting where you’ll want some more features, it’s probably better to connect your laptop to the TV and then share its screen via Zoom on your laptop.
Swosh Touchscreen TV
Overall, we were extremely impressed with the Swosh Interactive Touchscreen TV! It is perfect for any business or educational setting and offers a wealth of features that are sure to make your meetings run more smoothly.
